About GFRC
Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete is a technique for making concrete panels and object in lightweight by reducing the bulk of concrete. GFRC is a combination of shotcrete and hand-packing a thicker mix which has glass fiber in it. This technique gives you a shell of concrete that has 3/4″ thickness. The glass fiber in the mix act as reinforcement and eliminates the use of metal rebars for the tensile strength.
About the Workshop.
We are going to teach a combination of techniques and methods of casting products such as a sink, countertop, furniture and so on. Then we cover all tools and material you need for the concrete mix and how to apply. So from A-Z of GFRC will be covered in just one weekend.
